RAGs are complex technical issues, and RAGFlow, a headline open source RAG project, has experienced rapid growth over the past year. As LLM capabilities evolve further in 2025, there are different views on whether RAG will be a thing of the past, continue to evolve, or be integrated into Agents as an infrastructure to support LLM.
