Professor Shuicheng Yan has been an influential figure in the fields of machine learning, computer vision, and multimedia, and has extensive business experience. 2001, Shuisheng Yan joined Microsoft Research Asia under the mentorship of Dr Hongjiang Zhang, one of the co-founders of Microsoft Research Asia, and received his PhD degree in Mathematics from Peking University in 2004. 2004, Shuisheng Yan went to the Multimedia Laboratory at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a post-doctoral fellow to conduct research in the area of After graduation, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Multimedia Laboratory of Professor Xiaogou Tang at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he conducted research on face recognition.
