Building and Empowering Generic Agents: Practices and Explorations of OpenManus

With the diversification of intelligent body application scenarios and the increase of landing demand, the construction of general-purpose intelligent body is becoming a key breakthrough point to promote the landing of intelligent applications. OpenManus is an open source framework for intelligent body design for multi-disciplinary tasks, integrating modular architecture, Computer Use and MCP execution mechanism to realize efficient autonomous planning, tool collaboration and complex task execution chain. In this talk, we will systematically describe OpenManus's technological innovations and practices in the field of general-purpose agents, including its underlying architecture, core component design, intelligent planning methodology, and open source ecological construction. We will focus on how OpenManus breaks through the traditional function calling model, relying on intelligent task disassembly, tool calling optimization, and strategy adaptive capability, to provide low-cost and high-performance intelligent body solutions for developers and different applications. In addition, the presentation will analyze the performance of OpenManus in data analysis, information processing, and various application scenarios, and look forward to the development trend and technical challenges of general-purpose intelligences with practical cases.
