Jifeng Yang
Technical Partner and Co-CEO of UQI, the Smart Logistics subsidiary of UBTECH Robotics.
He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the National University of Singapore. He previously served as L3/L4 Autonomous Driving Team Lead at BMW, Head of AI Lab and Digitalization at Great Wall Motors, and CTO of Caresoft Global. During his time at automotive companies, he led the development of multiple L2–L4 autonomous driving platforms, vehicle vision and voice products, and intelligent cockpit systems, and also led large model pretraining and embodied intelligence research projects at the Great Wall Motors AI Lab. At Caresoft, he led a global engineering team of 2,500 people delivering data and engineering services to more than 20 OEMs, with industry practice focused on large-scale engineering and industrial deployment of autonomous driving and large models in the automotive sector. He currently works at UQI, where he leads product development for industrial mobile robots, L4 autonomous logistics vehicles, and humanoid robots, as well as research and engineering of embodied intelligence algorithms centered on large models.
