Yuchuan Lang

Head of Embodied AI Algorithms, Kunlunxing Robotics; Former Senior Algorithm Expert, Li Auto

Yuchuan Lang currently leads embodied AI algorithm development at Kunlunxing Robotics, focusing on embodied manipulation models and embodied agents. He holds a master’s degree in Robotics and Control from Centrale Nantes in France and a bachelor’s degree in Automation from Xidian University. He has nearly a decade of industry experience in autonomous driving, with expertise spanning localization and mapping, perception and planning, end-to-end VLA, and agents. Previously, he worked at Neolix, where he led perception, mapping, and localization for autonomous vending vehicle projects. In early 2021, he joined Li Auto as a core technical expert focused on L3/L4 autonomous driving algorithms, successively leading teams in environmental modeling, intelligent applications, and general-purpose models. During his tenure, he led major technological breakthroughs and large-scale deployments across a series of core systems, including Highway NOA, the Perception OneModel (BEV) architecture, map-free Urban NOA, and end-to-end VLA.
