Kun Wang

CEO of Trend Micro, former Dean of Dell EMC China Research Institute

Kun Wang founded Trending Technology in 2019. Prior to this, Dr. Wang Kun served as the Dean of Dell EMC China Research Institute, responsible for managing and leading all Dell EMC research teams in Greater China. Before joining Dell EMC, Dr. Wang worked in IBM China Research Institute and Microsoft Asia Pacific R&D Center, where he served as researcher, senior researcher and research manager. Dr. Wang is a senior expert in the fields of computer architecture, GPU and FPGA virtualization, and distributed systems. He was the first to promote FPGA virtualization related research in the industry. Dr. Wang graduated from the Computer Department of University of Science and Technology of China.
