With the launch of eBay global managed payment, the payment risk system plays a crucial role to protect customers’ finance security, prevent unauthorized chargebacks and minimize loss. In this talk, Wei from eBay Payment & Risk Team will give a general introduction of payment risk scenarios, risk platform architecture as well as sophisticated risk models systems including real-time predictive model and graph neural network-based models. In particular, she will share using heterogeneous graph neural networks together with a GNN explainer, improves model predictive ability and meanwhile generates human understandable explanations to facilitate fraud pattern mining.
